FAQ's

How do I play a tour?

First, make sure you have the Google Earth plugin installed on your browser. If you don't you will be notified within the tour window. Just click the message and install the plugin as needed. Once installed, click "load" followed by "play" to begin a tour.

The tour isn't loading or I'm getting stuttering when I hit play...

The tour files are quite large so in some cases on slower than average networks you may need to reload the page to correctly load the tour. If you experience stuttering after hitting Play, just refresh your browser window, click the tour "Load" button and then give it about 20 seconds prior to pressing play.

Do you recommend a specific browser?

Google Chrome and Firefox are your best options for the modern web, followed by Safari and if you must... Internet Explorer, although we don't recommend it. We do not support Internet Explorer 7 or earlier.

Can I play a tour on my Ipad, Iphone or Android?

At this time the Google-Earth API is not supported by mobile devices, we're hoping that will change soon, however you will find many of the still image galleries are supported. Just look for the mobile friendly tag.

The tour looks dark on my screen. What gives?

Because of sunlight's influence on terroir, we feel it's important that it is part of the tour, therefore we've enabled a feature that will allow you to set the sunlight for a location based on a specific date and time. It is on by default so if your screen looks dark it is because it is night in the location of the vineyard. Simply adjust the date and time with the slider on the left of the window or turn off the feature by clicking "x"

How to I interact with a tour?

First pause the tour, then use your mouse controls to zoom in, out and pan around the location. The entire earth is navigatable from within each tour window.
